SKYLAR, MY WRITING CENTER BOSS IMPLIED TO ME I MIGHT BE AUTISTIC, AND THAT IS THE 4TH PERSON WHO HAS TOLD ME I MIGHT BE AUTISTIC, AND MAN, I GUESS I HAVE THE AUTISTIM BY STATISTIC ANALYSIS

ALSO, IT IS SO STRANGE THAT EVERYONE THAT I FIND PARTICULARILY STRANGE AND AUTISTIC/NOT THINKING RIGHT ARE THE ONES CALLING ME AUSTISTIC ARUGHHH

Like, this Writing Center boss- she is cool but she misses so many aspects of proper protocol and I have to catch her in it because it affects the employees work -like she will not communicate to us or forgets to tell us that we have an asynchronous appointment due in 2 days and we only find out the day of or she skips so many steps, and when confronted about it, she gives steps on how to deal with it instead of how to prevent it. I have literally just called her out on work group chat to tell her she needs to give people a heads up when she changes our work schedule without telling us, and now she tells me I am autistic like WTF SO WHAT IF I AM YOU STILL NEED TO COMMUNICATE BETTER

Random thought at 2 AM: Isn't there a song out there that goes in a fast pop tone "I just wanna let you know! I was born in Tokyo!" ??? I keep singing it, but I do not know the rest. I looked up the lyrics, and nothing comes up. But I swear I heard those lyrics before. Unless I misheard what the lyrics were. Yu are literally the only Asian (other than my questionably lame siblings) I know right now, so that MUST mean you know those lyrics, right?? I also really need to pick me up some more Asian breeds out there

LOOKING FOR RENTALS TO GO TO IN MADISON, WI AUGHHHHHH THIS SUMMER/FALL (MY ROOMMATE SAID HE CAN TAKE OVER THE LEASE, WHICH IS NICE)- AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE UNKNOWN IS SO SUCH A DRAGGGGGG

Skylar, check out my pompano sinigang soup! One cut pompano, pepper, fish sauce, three tomatoes, pineapple, sinigang seasoning packet from the Asian store, fish stock, okra, bok choy. It was tasty, but making the fish stock and everything took so long, and I remember you saying that you were able to reduce the time of making pho by using an instant pot. So I'm getting more serious about considering pressure cookers. Is the one you have an instant pot, and do you consider it big or small enough for your soups? I'm thinking about the right size for myself. I'm thinking about making more stocks, and so I would preferably like to choose a bigger size.

Also, I interestingly read up that appliances like air fryers and instant pots are now making kitchens portable. Ovens, for example, take up so much energy to be able to heat up such a large area, and not everybody needs to be roasting an entire turkey every week. I barely use my stove anyways because I'm microwave everything, and now, I have a microwave air fryer mix. These are appliances are also more energy efficient.

Also, have you considered a monitor light? I found out about them on a whim on YouTube, and when I was in college, they had these private carols in the library that had a big shelf on the top that had a light that would shine specifically on the desk and not into your eyes. I thought that was so cool, and I actually bought a shelf that can be anchored onto the new electric desk (I'll be able to set it up next week when my friend can come over to help me) attempting to recreate that carol experience. However, I now realize that a monitor light does something similar. It doesn't shine completely into your face, and just shines the desk area! Something for you to consider if you want something like that for concentrating on artwork, your keyboard, etc. Also, in this picture, I got my new keyboard! I ended up going for a white led Powzan chiclet aluminum keyboard because I remembered that I liked the desktop Mac keyboards, and I looked for one similar to it.
